With the small SLAMs 4.7 and 5.4 m2 you get  maximum acceleration whenever you want. Thanks to a short boom the sail has a compact solid feeling even in the shore break. The bigger SLAMS, 5.9 to 6.9 m2, provide a light construction with great handling. Powerful when accelerating and manouverable during tricks.
