Does the large amount of x-ply make the sail heavier?
Mylar is a sandwhich type cloth. It contains one layer of monofilm (50 monifilm) and one layer of polyester webbing. (80 gr.qm) They are then laminated togehter. The total weight is 180 g/qm.
